Apply to join our pilot teacher training program where we will be selecting a few people to go through our special Curious About Cannabis Teacher Training program. Our certified lead instructors are empowered to host and lead our Curious About Cannabis Workshop Series, allowing our popular workshop series to be offered to more cohorts around the world.

For this pilot run of our teacher training program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Minimum of five years professional experience working with Cannabis or cannabinoids
• Educational or public speaking experience
• Undergraduate or graduate degree in a natural science or related field
• Specialized expertise in either Cannabis botany, horticulture, chemistry, extraction, testing, product development, or therapeutics
• Free from conflicts of interest that would interfere with the instructor's ability to deliver relatively objective information with minimal personal bias

About the Program

Cost: $2395
Length: Approximately 15 to 20 weeks (actual time varies student to student)
Requirements for Certification:

• 80% or higher on graded content (quizzes, exams, assignments)
• Shadowing of Part One and Part Two of the Curious About Cannabis Workshop Series
• At least 10 hours of supervised teaching
• At least 5 hours of unsupervised teaching

Revenue Share

Our certified instructors keep 60% of revenues generated from the workshops that they lead. For a typical six week workshop with 10 students, that amounts to between $3600 - $5100. Workshops can hold up to 20 students maximum.

While we try to assist our instructors as much as possible, ultimately the instructors are responsible for promoting their workshops and recruiting students.
